My personal favorite is MMLP
but many people (on my circle at least) think that
SSLP has a better atmosphere/themes compared to MMLP..

I kinda feel that but cant say its better..

My personal favorite is The Eminem Show because that was one of the first albums I bought. But I think SSLP and MMLP could go either way. you could put either one in the number one or two spot. Ranking his albums for me would be TES> MMLP/SSLP> Infinite> MMLP2> Recovery> Encore>Relapse. There are gems on each one of his albums though.

The Eminem Show features Em at his prime. SSLP and MMLP are both great, but for me TES is easily his best album.

MMLP is my favorite and I think TES is the only Eminem album that can compete with it. Just my opinion though and I think SSLP is a 9/10, maybe even better.

Absolutely not. It's a classic, but it's not as good as the perfection of MMLP and TES. Everything Eminem recorded from 2000-02 was flawless. I'd even place Devil's Night ahead of SSLP.

The whole album. Every member of the group performed great on it (even Bizarre's dark shock value worked here) and the production was ridiculously good (Eminem did the majority of it).

Hmm interesting opinion. Bizarre is terrible imo even on Devils Night, while the other members we're average excluding Eminem. However I do think Eminem was in his prime in 2001 and primarily on Devils Night, and the production on Devils Night is probably better than on any of his solo projects. I'd probably rate Devils Night 4th after his first 3 albums if I we're to rank it.

Good opinion. I think Proof, Swifty, and Kuniva were all great on Devil's Night though. Even Kon Artis (aka Porter) was pretty good. Em was in his prime and Bizarre said alot of shocking hilarious s---, which is basically all he's there to do.

For me its between MMLP and SSLP. Their both great, I personally prefer MMLP a little bit more.

TES, MMLP, AND SSLP are all amazing 10/10 albums for me. Really hard to pick and choose which is his definite "best".

Overall I still living mmlp is the better album because it had a perfect mixture of shock and serious. Like someone above said the stars seemed to like up, and unlike most sophomore albums, it delivered if not succeeded expectations. However I absolutely love sslp and think it is the one of the most enjoyable albums to listen to. It was so raw, funny, and flat out impressive. All the story telling and cartoonish themes gave it such an enjoyable feel for me.

Eminem show is my favorite, followed by MMLP. SSLP then, followed by Relapse, MMLP2, then Recovery..then Encore.

I didn't hate Recovery, though. Encore..man, I remember the dissappointment listening to that thing. Esp hearing s--- like "And I don't even got to make any god d--- sense, I just did a whole song and I didn't say shittttttttt".

At that point I realized the guy had nothing left to prove.

Out of the two options, I like MMLP better. For me, his albums go:
1. Eminem Show
2. Marshal Mathers LP
3. Slim Shady LP
4. Recovery
5. Marshal Mathers LP2
6. Relapse
7. Encore
8. Infinite
