Sep 8, 2018 @Genius Is Hot Trash Do you have the image of this dummie listening to Wide Awake 50 times straight?
Sep 8, 2018 yes to be clear i don't think being well-rounded is the be-all-end-all of art; you can't play doom at parties either and you're not really going to play dmx at calm moments in your headphones. there's nothing wrong with being specific and not appealing to everyone all the time! but to say eminem was particularly well-rounded is f---ing ludicrous lol
Sep 8, 2018 I went to a frat house party one time & they played Superman while rapping along. Let me tell you, I don’t think i’ve ever been more uncomfortable in a party setting & i’ve seen some s--- lol
Sep 8, 2018 He has at least 1 song for every genre. (Sort of) Country - I Remember Party Song - Shake That Silly - Fack Contemplative - Songs about his daughter\Kim Came on
Sep 8, 2018 Shake That is trash. Lol He was never the total package. But he was my favorite artist from 1999 to 2001.
Sep 8, 2018 I like when eminem gets played publicly. When crack a bottle first came out I’d have Boston djs play it lol. And yes, ppl liked it! Check ur privilege
Sep 8, 2018 Needless to say, there were like 10 colored people there max & I was one of them lol. I just needed to get out of there. Nah dude... imagine dozens of drunk snobby rich white kids rapping: “Girl, you can jump on shady’s d-ck” My insides were literally melting lol
Sep 8, 2018 When I go back and listen to his older stuff now I just think he’s overrated really. So much of what he made his name by was by being edgy, offensive on purpose saying stuff to piss people off, get him attention etc. It’s like wow he can call people r-----s, f--s, talk bout raping his mom, make fun of people dying in plane crashes etc. ugh, it’s just like is this really something that stands the test of time? Not really imo, cool he took advantage of it at the time but what’s the point in going back and hearing that? It’s not like it gives me a rush or is exciting or anything, just sounds lame at this point. Basically all the other albums from these rappers known as fhe legends hold up better than even Em’s classics imo. So much of Em’s catalog even on his good albums is just bout being edgy and a sense of humor I no longer find that funny.
