One of my favourite albums. I remember being so excited to pick this up, used to see Hip Hop Police play constantly on Much (basically Canada's MTV)

I still go back and listen front to back often. Classic album

Great album for sure. Been a minute since I've listened to it though so I'm gonna do that today.

If y'all want another underrated Chamillionaire album to check out Get Ya Mind Correct. It was a collab album he did with Paul Wall. Great album!

This still holds up well after all these years (even if some lyrics are outdated). Relistening on the way to work

I knew that something had to shake and it was gonna bubble like a Coca-Cola can
And I shook it up like a soda can, my wallet is overflowin man
Now my potential's unlimited like the minutes of my Motorola plan

    :wayne2:

Also I love all the name drops on Hip Hop Police and Industry Groupie

Wait a second. Do we have Chamillionaire fans here who have never heard Get Ya Mind Correct?!?

Man what I would give to go back in time when that first came out and alls me and my friends did that whole summer was drive around and smoke blunts, or play basketball, and bump the s--- out of this album. I had just moved to Houston too for college and this album f----- up my life. For the better haha.

Their follow up collab album Controversy Sells has a few gems too. But no where nearly as good as the first one.

Mixtape Messiah was dope too. But GYMC changed my life. I still bump it fairly often. Always puts me in a good mood.

I used to be obsessed with Chamillionaire. For a couple years during his run I felt he was the dopest in the game. Can't believe it's been 10 years since Ultimate Victory came out. f--- me, time flies!

Idk about on here but some people i know irl haven't heard it. Yeah i agree, Controversy Sells was dope but not as dope as GYMC. Then again I probably like it more than most bc I'm a big Houston hip hop head. Such a shame that Paul Wall and Chamillionaire had beef for a bit, at least p---- C was able to help end it.

    You still in Houston?

Yea man I know exactly what you mean. That Paul wall beef was really unfortunate because they complimented each other really really well. As a fan, it was sad to see because they came up together as partners and not only made a name for themselves supporting each other, but they dropped one of Houston's greatest albums ever in GYMC.

Yup I'm still in Houston. I'll probably never leave Houston. I love this city. It's my home now.

    Ridin Remix >> Original

Been listening to some old gems from Chamillionaire.

Brings back memories of when I was in my teens & had no care in the world . Good times.
