    Agree with this, Franco smashed the last episode though and Sarah Gadon was perfect throughout. Wish they focused a bit more on Lee

    Thought the whole season was great, last scene was pretty sad. Love that era and the music.

    Ending had me legit tearing :cmpunk2:

    Great series overall although it did have some glaring flaws.

    Just finished this (shoutout Amazon Firestick) here's my brief review that no one asked for

    First half of the series was slow but second half got better, Josh Duhamel (Frank) did the best acting job followed by Bill, character development was lacking for most part, last episode was the clear high point tho the scene when <redacted> called Jake made no sense, wish they would've gone a different direction from the 7th episode onward but overall I'd say it was worth watching

    just finished watching the final episode... wish i would have watched this in the same timeframe as you guys, cuz there was a bit to talk through. overall, i thought it was pretty solid, but as @Flacko stated, there were definitely some glaring flaws. for example:

    the entire series always bothered me because all of it could have been avoided if he simply showed up day 1, killed Lee, and then popped back to see if things changed (easy way to confirm that Lee did it, and that the world would be a better place w/o it)...if nothing changed, then he would have known Lee didn't actually do it and he could jump back through again to reset what he did (unkilling Lee).

    King recently answered this, though the answer was in the book. There are many reasons. The most practical was that Lee is in Russia for years before coming back so if he tried then, the past would push back on that, hard, and maybe even still send a different shooter to replace him possibly

    plus Jake doesn't want to get cancer or something like Al, who Jake knew kept going there a lot. Though not sure if that is ever said explicitly.

    if they sent a different shooter (confirmed in the papers when jake got back), then that would at least be confirmation that Lee was the original shooter. could have hung tight until the day of the assassination with that knowledge then and wouldn't need to go there and back multiple times to test it out. i know, it's nit-picky or whatever, and you're just supposed to go with it and enjoy the story, but that definitely didn't play out "naturally" or logically imo.

    I worked on the show and knew the general beats but seeing it all put together was really great.. I liked how it ended. Little known fact but the "Christine" car was used in the show..

    As someone who took a JFK conspiracy class, I wouldn't say this show was very historically accurate, but it didn't detract from the show if you're someone who has done research into what really happened that day

    I realize that sounds lame but we had several people come in who dedicated decades of research to this so it wasn't just a group tinfoil hat session

    Really? I've heard people impressed with how accurate they were with the characters on the day of the shooting.

    Sometimes security, sometimes location work.. My company owns both a locations and security company so i alternate.. i can post more photos if you guys want i have a ton lol.

    The day of the shooting is accurate as it pertains to Oswald's role in it, I just don't think he was acting alone. I don't expect an adaptation of a historical fiction novel to be 100% accurate or capture all the details, but you'd be a fool to completely agree with the Warren Commission's findings, a fool I say!
