I agree with you, all the data is explained by something other than "they target black people BC they are racist and always have been". However, someone always throws out a statistics like "well whites should be killed more frequently by police, black people only make up 12% of the population", thinking they just dropped a bombshell. A different perspective is what made it meaningful to me.
