    I'm Dutch lol. And even though I absolutely hate PSV it would have been good for Dutch football. Now they're done.

    Going to Ajax - Celta De Vigo this thursday, if they win they proceed to the next round. Gonna be a great party afterwards in Amsterdam :hov:

    Brilliant management by Pep in that 2nd half; they did a better job of pressing Barca up high and their midfield base started being more aggressive and smarter with the ball. The Barca midfield trio really have to pick it up in Iniesta's absence, the MSN got very little service and as a result got dragged back yards just to even try getting possession. Very fun game to watch KDB, Silva & GundoGod are brilliant players.

    Logic says it'll be an easy game. But anything is possible in football, however I can't see them allowing such game slip from them. Expecting a heavy score.

    The problems were much deeper than simply missing iniesta. I think the absence of pique was a bigger impact, the back four became less composed and more prone to mistakes without his composure and leadership. And believe it or not... Pique is Barca's attacking plan C and is quite dangerous going forward (at least in set piece plays). Jordi Alba's absence also means barca are less dangerous attacking from the left. I think Enrique made a mistake by not playing Denis Suarez. The midfield trio he picked was theoretically more solid , but then they were lacking in the attacking transitioning, where iniesta (or messi) usually does some magic and walk defences with dribbles and through balls. But with busquests and Sergei Roberto playing so shaky we weren't able to domatinate in the attack as we usually do since both players allow the entire team to play higher (which we couldn't successfully do), and with the pressure of playing away, I'm not surprised that we lost.



    Well, we will still finish top of the group regardless of today's result. But there are worries. I think if we played messi in midfield and had a world class winger play wide (ie sergi Roberto, and getting him the f--- out of rb), we would be able to cope without iniesta, but losing alves took a s--- on those plans .

    Credit to Legia for being very clinical in those chances. I had a feeling this game was gonna take this direction...I was gonna s--- on us but Kova just might have saved us a point.

    From a neutral perspective that was a fun game! Legia showed potential in that last game at being good at transitional attacking movement/link-up and made us suffer. Zizou really should never use that multiple striker formation again, besides Gareth they didn't help the fullbacks out wide and they weren't fluid in their position movements, Kova & Kroos tried but they needed that extra carrier & playmaker (*cough* Isco or Asensio *cough*). That game vs Sporting is a must win now, thoughts @Guma @Wzzi @Owl 2034 @MerengueSXN?
