Which is proof that a QB can't do it all. He can't throw the ball to himself... A QB needs at the very least decent WR's, a competent OC and HC, and a run game to keep the defense guessing.

And? That's not even debatable. Tom Brady throughout the years has had Randy Moss, Rob Gronkowski, Wes Welker, J. Edlemen, and more if I had more time to think. And most importantly Bill Belichick and Ernie Adams. Aaron Roders has... Mike McCarthy...

In 06 Brady had bums as receivers, and a trash defense.

He put together a crazy comeback against a dominant chargers team, in San Diego, down by ten in the fourth, then the following week, built a 21-3 lead in the afc title game, which his defense gave up, and got into a shootout with a high powered colts offense. Pats had no business being in that game.

    Just stop.

Was throwing to Austin Collie, Hooman and Dobson in the AFC Championship a few years ago too.

Brady had Moss for two years lol. And you're making my point. Edelman was a 7th rounder and a QUARTERBACK in college. Wes Welker was a nobody before Brady.

You forgot to mention Troy Brown, David Patten, David Givens, Doug Gabriel, Reche Caldwell, Jabar Gaffney, Kembrell Thompkins, Aaron Dobson, Josh Boyce, Chad Jackson (not Johnson), Bethel Johnson...

These were his number 1s and 2s at points. And he's never missed a beat. His stats inflated once he really had good receivers like Moss/Gronk.

Now look at what Rodgers has. He's had consistency at the position and dudes that can catch deep passes. Brady is mostly throwing to midgets lol

I don't mind people making an argument for Rodgers or Manning, but at least make an intelligent argument.

Don't say Rodgers has done more with less than Brady lol. That's just not even close to being accurate

Ernie Adams is the reason the Patriots won the SB 2 years ago. Do your research. The defensive move that Malcom butler made was due to Ernie Adams. He came up with it and they practiced it a thousand times before that game

And whatever i don't really care about who's better. They both shred my team up. All I'm saying is when I watch Rodgers and Brady play, Rodgers wins the eye test by a hair. Doesn't have the greatest tight end of all time, doesn't have the greatest coach of all time, doesn't have a defense behind him etc. etc.

Completely forgets that Pats were down 10 in the 4th lmao.

We all know about Ernie Adams bro. What did you just watch the Do Your Job special? Lol.

Malcolm Butler doesn't get that opportunity without Brady having the best 4th quarter by a qb in Super Bowl history.

Brady took the worst defense of all time to the Super Bowl in 2011. Literally, the worst defense ever lol.

And Brady got Gronk in 2010, ten years into his career lol

Brady and Rodgers is a tough debate. Rodgers can do everything Brady can, but he's also mobile. Brady is a statue. So I'd probably take Rodgers for that reason but you might as well flip a coin

Sure Super Bowls matter, but that isn't a good argument because it's a team accomplishment

I don't really mind that argument @Timmy T because at least you choose Rodgers scrambling ability over Brady's pocket presence.

Brady isn't a statue though, a statue is a QB who doesn't move in the pocket, and while Brady isn't a scrambler, he's probably the best ever at manipulating the pocket, next to Peyton. But, I get your argument.

Hard for me to say anything good about Rodgers but it is cool watching him scramble and effortlessly throw the ball 60 yards downfield.

I mean that's a valid argument, I just don't agree with "statue" but Rodgers clearly scrambles better than Brady.

Super Bowls do matter though in the context of Brady. Most of the wins leading up to, or in Super Bowls, were from the arm of Brady. This isn't the Dilfer argument.

Brady led game winning drives in every Super bowl run. Think Oakland, rams, Titans, panthers, eagles, Chargers, Ravens (twice), and Seattle. Not to mention he had an epic go ahead drive vs the Giants in SB42.

So, while I agree Super bowls are team accomplishments, Brady has bailed out the Pats time and time again. It wasn't until 07 that the Pats actually invested in offense. And the defense wasn't exacty dominant before lol

Edit: actually, 2004 defense was pretty dominant.

Fair enough and that may very well be the case, but I'm not sure any QB is as hot as Rodgers right now so they better expect to at least put up 28 points. Should be a good game, I see it as a coin flip.
