    Australia Women just lost to Brazil in penalties to make the semis... We also blew the chance to take the winning penalty as well. :hovcry:

    What's the point of having a ref at the goal line if they aren't gonna make the call. Goalkeeper must be standing behind the line until the penalty taker kicks the ball. This happened on multiple penalties including the one that lost us the game. We were robbed. :wellsht:

    @Charlie wtf is going on with these boxing decisions? Conlan robbed today, I think that's 3-4 fighters who've lost really really questionable decisions to Russian boxers.

    I haven't been seeing the fights, but I've been reading about it all week. NBC sucks d-ck compared to the BBC coverage. Judging is historically corrupt at the Olympics, the most famous case being Roy Jones Jr getting jerked in South Korea. Any sport that has the possibility of being decided by a panel instead of a stopwatch or measuring stick is vulnerable to it. Boxing especially. I heard the heavyweight gold match was way worse than the Conlan fight too.

    I really don't give a f--- about the Olympics outside of basketball but the younger sister of a girl I knew in Junior High is competing in the 400m Hurdle Final tonight. She's repping Queens. I'm rooting for her.

    this whole lochte thing got me...

    so turns out that they did get a gun pulled on em and were forced to hand over money.... but it was because they damaged the bathroom door.

    how do you take that story and say "we were driving and randomly pulled over by a police officer, had a gun pulled and cocked to my head and were robbed"??

    either say nothing, or say you had a gun pulled on you at a gas station. why the big deal trying to cover up the fact that the door was damaged?? lol -- if you want to lie about the situation to try and clear your name entirely (which...whatever, i guess?), then just say, "the security guard overreacted and said i broke the door and i didn't and then he pulled a gun on me." only debatable part there would be whether or not the door was broke -- not whether or not a police officer robbed you at gun point :'(
