    End of the day you're drafting Lonzo not Lavar. He can kick and scream and say what he wants but as long as Lonzo doesn't bring any of that to the team then it's a non issue. From what we've seen Lonzo seems like a quiet dude who just wants to hoop. I'd say the bigger question marks about him are his ability to get that shot off in the NBA, how he struggles to score from the mid range or get to the rim in half court sets, and his defense.

    True, there will be a bunch of pressure on Lonzo to perform early because of the hype...and you know other guys will be going at him extra hard....

    that shot is a big question mark...

    I do think you are drafting Lavar too, he has become a media personality...even though Lonzo is quiet...Lavar wont be, which is rub people the wrong way...especially with the amount of MEDIA play he gets...

    its definitely a weird situation...if I'm a GM, I'm avoiding Lonzo/Lavar and taking anyone else

    I wouldn't avoid him, only guy I'd draft ahead of him is Fultz and potentially Jackson depending on my PG situation.

    Yea well Pat would trade back the pick if he wanted Giles that bad, but PF/backup center is such a huge need for this team I could see him taking one early with the 14th pick

    I dont think Giles will go too high, this season hurt his stock alot. I'll be surprised if he's a lottery pick

    I'm more concerned finding the right guard for Simmons. I reckon Embiid and Simmons are going to work beautifully on offence, Simmon's play is very unselfish and will feed Embiid dimes.

    curious to see how Ben Simmons does in the NBA...

    Giles was such a letdown @ Duke...I mean he will be drafted on potential...but injuries will scare me if I would pick him up...its weird sometimes how a player like Okafor dominated college ball @ Duke...and hasn't shown much in the NBA...yet Giles could be the reverse LOL

    Kyrie Irving is a classic example of a player who played a handful of games at Duke...and I wasn't really impressed, considering how he looked at St. Patrick NJ high school...then turns out to be a beast in the NBA

    lets hope so. i think theyll make playoffs next year. if embiid matures more in the next few years i see a lot of potential in him

    Some people are saying the Hornets should take a risk on Giles at 11, might as well take a big risk. We've played pretty safe for years now and it hasnt worked out yet.
