Jul 31, 2019 Castro & de Blasio have been the two most notable candidates so far. Biden really starting to feel the pressure from all sides. He handled it pretty well on the topic of healthcare but his responses on immigration are getting shakey. Harris has just been okay so far. She defended her healthcare plan fairly well but didn’t really win any of her exchanges w/ Biden. It was pretty even. Lmao @ Gabbard making a good point re: Sebelius but then fumbling it by claiming she wrote Harris’s plan when she only endorsed it.
Jul 31, 2019 Her response to people being critical of her criminal justice record is AWFUL. It’s been awful since she launched her campaign. Even if she took responsibility for some of it, it would play out better but her whole campaign is based on her role as AG. I was hoping she would flip Gabbard’s criticism into her defense of the LGBTQ community as DA in San Francisco & AG for California. She would have been able to turn the tables & criticize Gabbard’s history of being anti gay & pro conversion therapy but nope.

She actually means it and has shown that she is wrong, too. Kamala hasn’t apologized for her s-----y a--- criminal justice record. She tries to spin it like she was so progressive as a prosecutor. She’s very disingenuous and it shows. Once the debate stage is down to 5-7 people, Bernie and Warren will smell blood and repeatedly attack her over the head when it comes to her record and finish her for good. Plus she’s wishy washy on Medicare For All. Bernie will have a field day with her inconsistencies and backtracking. She’s a typical politician and people do not want a standard, wishy washy politician. I’m all in for Bernie or Warren at this point. Any other candidate will lose to Trump.
Aug 1, 2019 She’s been consistently #2/#3 in polling pre 2nd debate. A single debate doesn’t really have much impact especially this far out from the actual primary elections. She’ll see a slight drop in the polls maybe but will likely rebound as time passes just as Biden did after the first debate. Harris has always been one of the front runners though since she announced her campaign.
