Apr 10, 2020 also not sure why people think stuff like that matters when Donald Trump is his opponent. The guy makes traditional political “blunders” on d--- near a daily basis. People don’t care.
Apr 10, 2020 Agreed. being 'imperfect' is weirdly humanizing. ofc it can be weaponized - but both sides do it. republicans imo do it better - which is why it baffles me to see dems fall into the same traps time and time again. I will say the country recently tends to go for the new shiny thing in terms of presidential electoral psychology. clinton the first baby boomer, obama, trump the freak show. we want that It factor - biden may need to compensate w a flashy veep selection imo.
Apr 10, 2020 A can of tuna could beat Trump in a debate. Every opposing Republican as well as Hillary Clinton destroyed Donald Trump in the debates (it just didn't matter). He loses his temper, he repeats himself, he lies, and he changes the subject. Joe Biden is hardly a brilliant debater, but that's low on my list of worries And not sure what you mean about low Democratic turnout. The states Joe Biden won on Super Tuesday and beyond (up until the pandemic really took hold) had very strong turnout from Democrats.
Apr 11, 2020 from someone on the outside looking in but, wtf how do you defend that dementia/stroke fuelled corona speech biden gave? wtf is that? like brah i'd be like i'll vote for this guy to go to a mental asylum/aged care facility, before i vote him into power. call it what you want, when he says that confusing a--- dementia/stroke type s--- to some military official, what happens? - ((just as a bare bones example.)). like trump is not-smart, hollywood, dumb etc etc. but he's mentally stable, more so than biden i would say. (end of thew day though, it's like comparing an autistic edge lorde to an a----burgers r-----.)
Apr 11, 2020 @Papa Alpha Andy wait dw, you can probs ignore that, thought i was on last page, not half way through the thread. havent checked but fact you say this, i would say YES it definitely is space monkey the s--- skin brazilian white nationalist.
Apr 11, 2020 I mean, he doesn’t have dementia. The internet cherrypicks videos and created these little bubble narratives but...it’s not true. His speech giving skills have dipped in retirement sure- the way he talks kind of loops into itself, but plenty of normal people have that pattern of talking. He just is a politician so he’s expected to speak in polished viral ready sound bytes. Trump is president and just as terrible. In no planet is he more mentally capable then biden trust me.
Apr 11, 2020 yeah, obv not full blown if Biden was starting to come down with it, but he has early warning signs
Apr 11, 2020 in your clinical view which ones of these does biden have? not just basing it off him occassionally stumbling as he talks https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/324516#memory-loss
Apr 11, 2020 Memory loss, difficulty planning, and confusion about time or place, mood changes, difficulty speaking
Apr 11, 2020 how so? how could u possibly know about his ability to plan lol are you his wife? u guys sleep together?
Apr 11, 2020 This entire conversation surrounding Biden’s health & in 2016 Clinton/Trump’s health is precisely why there needs to be an age cap on running for President. Even if he’s healthy now, which I assume he is, we don’t know how he’ll be in 2,3,4 years or beyond. The same argument can be made for Trump, if not even more. I mean, medical professionals have literally written books questioning his mental fitness. People in his own cabinet have reportedly questioned his mental fitness.
Apr 12, 2020 Yeah I agree. When I say Biden is losing it I don't mean that he's unfit to be president at this very moment, but I think he's clearly going downhill and who knows what he'll be like in 4 or 8 years. I had the same worries for Bernie. He was mentally sharp, but there can be a huge difference between 77 and 81 or 85 (plus the heart attack scare).
