Apr 19, 2020 Her views/positions on a lot of major issues are pretty unknown. Becoming Biden’s VP I feel like corners her into a box where she’s looked at as an establishment democrat. She has a lot of options though. She could run for senate, governor & build a national profile that way as well. I’m just not sure if she would want to be attached to Biden/his administration. Agh.... my trust in Wikipedia has failed me. I stand corrected.

Apr 21, 2020 With both Presidential candidates being dinosaurs, I think the VP selection will mean significantly more than usual. At the end of the day, I agree the average voter is only going to care about Biden vs. Trump but I think there's a pretty significant group of centrists who are waiting for Joe's selection. If it's someone too progressive, they will stick with Trump. For Progressives, if it's someone too corporate, they will stay home. It's anyone's guess which group is larger.
Apr 21, 2020 The goal is to re-assemble the Obama coalition. white-working class voters + white highly educated voters + African-American voters. Those are the three most important voter groups imo. Most progressives will fall in line & the ones that don’t probably mostly live in blue states anyways. Nonetheless, voters from both parties polled that they were content with their parties candidate(s). I don’t think people care about age and/or VP much.
Apr 21, 2020 Have you done an electoral college outcome map? It's very interesting and based on Vegas odds, it comes out to a 269-269 tie assuming Nebraska goes to Trump and Maine goes to Biden. If this holds true, Maine's divided electoral votes will sway it to Trump. I think forgetting about the latino vote in Nevada, Arizona and NM could be devastating for Democrats. If all predictions hold true, Arizona could be the deciding state. Also, if Florida goes blue, it's a guaranteed win for Biden. Personally, I do not think it's possible though. As a betting man, I do believe Biden wins in 2020 though by the slimmest of margins.
