    15 years ago, most of the Democratic posters on D12world debates & politics sub forum who were against George W Bush were Alex Jones fans
    Jones had them because they were no fans of Bush43... and Jones told them he planned 9/11 and was poisoning America with "Chemtrails".


    s--- drove me nuts..


    I would constantly have to tell them that Jones is a kook that would say anything and shouldn't be taken seriously..


    Bush didn't plan 9/11... he just was a s--- President who was out of his element and didn't keep us safe or respond right.

    Commercial airlines don't release poisonous chemical trails when they fly... they just fly through vapor that's already in the elevation.




    Not enough people condemned Jones' lunacy...

    Now he just calls everyone crisis actors, interdimensional vampires or child molesters... and pretends he is wwe wrestling kfabe when he gets sued.

    If Bernie Sanders was consistently a Democrat since the 80s, he would have been a lot more successful in the 16’ & 20’ primaries. Might have even won one. I stand by that.

    i think it’s silly and naive to say “if only this guy whose core policy ideals have been vilified by the democrats during this time had lined up with the party more, they’d like him!” he’s been a very good soldier in both generals.

    Not lined up with the party more, worked within the frame work of the party. Also, merely from a voters perspective, more democrats would have probably been willing to vote for him. When partisanship is the #1 variable that determines vote choice & you spend decades 1) not identifying with said party & 2) widely criticizing the leadership of said party, you’re going to turn a lot of people (voters & party leadership) off from you.

    He tapped into white anxiety & racial amnesty that’s been brewing in the Republican Party for a while now. Both parties have very different voters bases but Trump hit all the right notes & partisans rallied behind him.

    but these are just wishy-washy platitudes; what would be an example of an independent senator “working within the framework of the party” more than caucusing with them for decades and joining their party for presidential races, including after he loses the nomination? lol

    Because Republicans fell in line and got behind the only candidate with a chance.

    Democrats would rather lose with "their" candidate than win with somebody who doesn't fall in line with the elites.

    No offense but I'm glad Trump is potentially going to lose. With that said the ONLY reason Biden is in the position he is is because of COVID. If COVID doesn't happen Trump wins in a landslide.

    I disagree. While his base certainly voted based on white identity, I think the more moderate republicans fell behind him in spite of that. He won the general in 2016 by tapping into economic frustration and manufacturing loss, with tons of false promises. To about 30% of Trump voters, Build the Wall was about keeping brown people out, but to the rest of them it was about keeping work with Americans. I think one of the reasons he's doing so bad atm is he is campaigning on that white identity more than economic relief and coronavirus recovery.

    I could see him winning but not in a landslide. He didn't even win 2016 in a landslide, against a vastly more unfavorable opponent. Also, the 2018 blue wave is a good indication that people were not on board with Trump.

    In a COVID-less world, Trump could win, but it would be tighter than 2016.

    Hopefully Trump loses and starts his 2024 campaign of grievance right away... so, Republicans are divided into two loser factions that keep the trainwreck freakshow going and they lose their power so Democrats can heal the country and move us into the right direction.

    He bragged about it on national radio.

    He was great friends with Epstein... he bragged about Epstein's lifestyle.


    It's not propaganda.



    He is such a terrible President who has mismanaged this country so horrifically... no one even bothers to bring it up.
