    Republican Politicians figuring out they can't raise campaign funds on social media and freaking the f--- out.


    Everyone hates Republican Politicians now. Qanon wants to k--- both Democrats and Republicans... but they probably can't even recognize a Democrat legislator outside of AOC, Nancy and Chuck... they know all the Republicans who have been emailing them begging for money to keep Trump President.

    Really hope Dems make an attempt to fix education in this country. Specifically civics/history.


    Just saw an idiot on facebook posting about how native americans don't deserve reparations because "they are all rich and own casinos"; had to inform them that way more indigineous people don't have running water or adequate shelter than own casinos. Guy was genuinely confused. Ugh

    There are more Native Americans per ratio in my state than any other state in the union... and gambling is completely illegal here... can't even buy a lotto ticket.



    In 2012 a study concluded that if you listened to NPR... you were amongst the most informed Americans... and if you watched Foxnews, you were actually less informed than if you didn't consume any news.

    i agree but instead they’re going to keep gutting public education in favor of charter schools. there will be stem grants dangled in front of schools whose lunch programs are bankrupt.

    When I was first taking US History in middle school they taught the concept of Manifest Destiny like it was justified/the correct way of thinking. They also taught us that the Black Panthers were just "the black version of the KKK." In 1st grade I thought that all black people celebrated Kwanzaa due to the way they taught us about it in school.

    ...and this was in Seattle. I can only imagine what they taught kids in Alabama 20 years ago. I hope public school has progressed some since then lol.

    The PNW has a weird history... there was never slavery there... but it was kinda set up to be an aryan enclave... then one day the decided to be Portlandia.


    Another weird thing... the nation's school textbooks have to be approved by the Texas Board of Education for some reason.
