    Scrap that, just seen the list on OP. What a s--- year for hip-hop! Close really are the only contender. And that was January wasn't it? Looking forward to the Nas/Preemo album though.

    I’d say EPs are allowed, yeah! As long as the project falls under the guidelines listed in the OP, I don’t see why not!

    and I’m down for saving a spot for the Nas album! Assuming that’s gonna be the last “big” release of the year. Who knows, I opened this thread last year then Kendrick dropped literally 2 days later lol

    I honestly forgot it came out until it was time for this thread again haha, no disrespect I just never got around to listening to it and I didn’t see many people talk about it

    tbh his last album should’ve made it much further in the bracket last year :jordan:

    Man Up was even better than Man Down! But Clipse still absolutely light years ahead of the AOTY contenders.

    S80 is BACK!

    Some things about the bracket now that the site is back up, hopefully for good:

    • We have ONE slot left! Nominations will close after that as we will have 64 albums total. Make it count!
    • The bracket alongside the seedings will drop early on December 19th. Waiting a week after the Nas album drops so critic / user scores on AOTY will have been flowing in and I can give it a proper seeding based on that
    • Round one starts in 32 days on January 7th! I recommend going ahead and working through these albums now or within the next few days. LOTS to listen/relisten to!
    Thank you guys for supporting this for the 2nd year in a row, and already making it bigger than last year!
