Nov 9, 2018 Lol. That could be said about almost every album that reached like a million people in a country. I don't think they hated it blindly or ignored it like US people did.
Nov 9, 2018 You're just speculating. I live in Europe( The Netherlands) and even though American hip hop is popular, most people listen to the local artists. So it's very likely a lot of people don't even know about the album. Eminem isn't as big/relevant as Drake and Kendrick in Europe.
Nov 10, 2018 So what ? Most people listen to local artist in every country. Doesn't change the fact that Em is one of the most relevant artists. Eminem is bigger than Drake and Kendrick that's not even a question. He might not be more relevant than them but he is as relevant as them. What's your point anyway...
Nov 10, 2018 I just dont think we were very vocal about it. In the UK we respect Legends a lot more than US does i think. Even if something isnt good we dont bash on Legends and go out of our way to make it known. If something isnt good we just say it isnt good and move on. From where I'm from, I know people didn't like the album at all and much much prefer Kamikaze. Revival had imo, 3 maybe 4 great tracks and the rest was forgettable or subpar. Out of 19 tracks thats poor. Furthermore, the beat selection wasnt good at all across the board, which contributed to it not having much replay value. Kamikaze was needed for the twilight of Eminem's career.
Nov 10, 2018 I agree with Kamikaze part. Well, it's exactly how it suppossed to be but those 3-4 great tracks are actually flawless. Half of the album is pretty good. Walk On Water, Believe, Castle Arose are flawless. Revival is gonna be considered more than 3-4 great songs in few years. I can gurantee that. People sleeping on it hard. I didn't have problem with beat selection but I can respect that opinion.
