    Most of the gripes people bring up with this album are some of my favorite moments

    Spot on.

    The thing is with the people who don't like it, they were so ready to k--- him for dropping the ball, for trying to be too hard, for doing too much dancehall. Instead, he and 40 went back to the drawing board and gave us something that sounds like old Drake but doesn't at the same time.

    I didn't know what to expect going in, I thought he'd deliver but wasn't sure in what way.

    At the end of the day (and my 4th listen) I couldn't have been happier. We got Take Care mixed with the elements that made him great in 2015-16. Everyone else will catch up eventually.

    My biggest gripe with the album is the writing, it's kinda laz and generic in spots. But the production on the album is great, and Drake has his moments (mostly during the first 10 songs) where he's killing it. end of the day I think it should have been 9 or 10 songs shorter
