Aug 30, 2020 50 Cent wins easily. It's difficult to describe just how big 50 was around the time GRODT and Massacre dropped but anyone who was around knows. 50 Cent and the whole G-Unit brand was everywhere. You had people wearing their shoes, clothing, there was the 50 Cent videogame, you heard his music play everywhere. Even parents knew who he was. Simply put GRODT is a masterpiece. The Massacre is up there as well. Nothing that Ross ever did can even come close to either of those albums. 50 was just on a whole other level during that time. Even when listening to Power Of The Dollar (2000) and the mixtapes he had in the early 2000s it's easy to see how he became so successful.
Aug 30, 2020 Oh no secret here lol. Even though Eminem can do what he wants and nobody can tell him s--- I think he's afraid of what the optics would look like. He's done what he can I guess by literally giving 50 Dre beats that weren't really his to give.(I Get It In, OK, Ya Right, Death To My Enemies). IIRC Eminem let 50 go through his computer and pick Dre beats for BISD(which Jimmy Iovine coincidently had leaked 6 weeks early)
Aug 30, 2020 look at 50s albums and sales...way more successful than Ross. Not having interscopes backing hurt him
Aug 30, 2020 GRODT feels like a greatest hits album because every d--- track on that album is a b-----r. Take all the best tracks off Ross whole discography and you can't even make something like GRODT. We ain't even spoke about The Massacre.
Aug 31, 2020 Wait what I don’t recall hearing about Eminem giving 50 cent Dre beats. Where did you get that from?
Sep 1, 2020 To deny both Ross’ skill and reach throughout his career is evidence of worms tunnelling deep into the brain. With that being said, 50 blows him out the water. But not his fault! 50 blows near everyone out of the water
Sep 2, 2020 50's earlier mixtape work he did before getting signed alone s----s on anything Ross has ever done
Sep 3, 2020 What triggered that? Was it the fit 50 was throwing back in the day about them holding up his album release?
