Tonight in Wichita, KS there was gonna be another BLM protest but it turned into a 'first steps' BBQ with BLM and some police officers, saw some videos and looks like both sides had fun.

A small step but a good one, it'd be nice to see similar stuff around the country.

Don't remember you asking me about BLM and the media. I mean, I guess? The broadcast media is self-serving and sometimes-stupid. As I previously wrote, it's difficult to generalize them since the landscape is so fractured nowadays.
What system of beliefs? What groups of people?! Are we HAVING THE SAME DEBATE HERE? I'm actually interested -- you're 100% mischaracterizing what you previously said tho. I have no idea what you're talking about. You've been proven wrong numerous times in this thread and others recently, and I think you should eat crow a bit.

Okay, first off. You're agreeing with a guy called BigDickBastard. Surely, in your deepest heart you recognize you're on the wrong side of an argument if that's the case lol. Second, there's NO evidence the media incited anyone to violence. And, like, what media are you talking about? What's the mainstream media in 2016? If you're suggesting MSNBC, show us some clips, and tell us how gavin long and micah johnson were directly inspired by them... (tbh it's quite plausible Fox News has encouraged violence against Planned Parenthood, that being said. Must have missed your posts when you railed against their rhetoric.)

More importantly, you say "police officer deaths have NOT declined under Obama" -- definitively, like NO way deaths have declined. Then you immediately contradict yourself with "a slight downward trend in the past couple years" -- it doesn't take a statistician to note the obvious here lol. Like, what are you talking about? You can't acknowledge there's a downward trend and NOT say it's a decline lol. and if reporters are portraying cops as trigger happy racists, how? isn't it possible to report on the deaths of innocent black men while indicting law enforcement institutions without hurting your feelings/the feelings of supposed tough guys? like fu-, would this be your POV in 1991? 1965? 1865: "the media is portraying all white slave owners as RACIST! you abolitionists whine whenever a slave gets killed but you SAID NOTHING DURING JOHN BROWN!!! "

Also, what's with the Obama bs? Was LBJ "jumping on the media bandwagon" during the Civil Rights movement, or was he responding to an actual political movement/domestic strife in the country lol? What about FDR when he joined the allied "bandwagon" -- total shithead amirite? I'm mocking your wordchoice, but you're miming this silly conservative tic to blame ANYthing bad on Obama... and anything positively must be distorted, denied or misrepresented.

I wasn't openly calling for segregation. Don't speak in hyperbole. I was questioning if whites and blacks can get along. Mind you, this was right after a police shooting. If you want to continue telling people I am a white nationalist (I'm half Filipino but lets ignore that) who's pro segregating races go ahead man. I don't care. I get summers off, remember. I don't have a care in the world right now.

I mean, kind of, yeah? You've continually denied that there's a problem with how police departments handle black people.

Dude, this is absolutely not the case. Watch the news coverage of any of these police killings, and there's a reason activists are always up in arms--not even MSNBC is willing to say the killings are racially motivated, or that race was even a contributing factor. Show me a news clip where the news organization or any of its anchors takes a position you object to. You can't find any. They're not there.

Again, this is not at all the case. I'm not "silent," and I haven't exactly minced words about this & Dallas.
