Thinking about creating a youtube account so that I can start selling my trap beats. Any advice on how to get more views on my videos? What programs I can use to make videos? Im thinking that I should make my first few beats available for free. Also would appreciate it if anyone could help with a logo.

Not sure on which program to use but upload low quality versions of it with tags, and give people an option to buy a tag-less high quality version. use search tags like "rap beat with hook" for example

Would also make it the option to be leased (lower priced, maybe 25-50 dollars) and exclusive beats (hundreds of dollars for them to own).

Leased beats are perfect, because you can gain quality customers that keep coming back. Exclusive beats, I feel, scare people away.

I use Photoshop to make the images in my video then I just use Windows Movie Maker to make the video of the beat with the image I made. You could market your beats as free and that might help you get more recognition. Also be sure to strategically word the title of your video so it comes up in specific search results.

On YouTube it's takes a while and a lot of posting to get recognition.

If you have a large enough fan base on YouTube you don't have to sell anything. Just partner up and get paid from ads. 1000 views = 1$ and you get 65-70% of it depending on the network you're on
