It would definitely be a fair presumption if Eminem made average or s-----y music and was the biggest s--- ever. Then it would be a fair analysis to be like 'how :/'. But he made some of the most innovative and brilliant music ever, and is in many people's opinion the or one of the greatest writers of all-time.
Jun 4, 2018 has your fat a--- ever left the house? have you ever been to an eminem show? stadiums are packed with white people. if eminem was black would have been another edgy rapper left in the underground rap scene. his old albums don't hold up weather you want to admit it or not. and now he just sounds like a white royce. white people love space bound, ask any white person you meet if they like hip hop and i bet if they dont theyll say they like eminem though. this is just fact. dre ushered eminem in and now eminem is just a vulture who does nothing but make hip hop look bad to the people who give a s--- about hip hop. eminem fans in 2018 have no friends. eminem fans in 2018 need to understand that there are atleast 100 rappers better than him technically or artistically. "My Name Is" was never going to be some underground edgy song. It's too big and catchy. You think 'Lose Yourself' would be 'just another song' or could have been made by some underground rapper? LOL. This is masterful work of melody. It can't help but be HUGE, it's bigger than rap; anybody who hears it immediately recognizes it - this is irrelevant to f---ing race. Eminem has melody. And he makes s--- which sticks in people's head. As did 2Pac. That's what it is. Not race. - Why do you think almost all of the biggest s---; complex or simple, great or garbage... is melodic? Eminem is an extremely melodic rapper, as was 2Pac, as was 50 Cent... as are current trap rappers. MELODY makes music memorable. Eminem was a master of melody. Underground rappers - black or white - are often - NOT. They don't make memorable, melodic music, or, they don't have the exposure to go along with it. The race is irrelevant to the melody... If it wasn't, then quite simply any other white rapper with exposure, white rapperS would be the biggest next to Eminem. Asher Roth would be HUGE; he isn't. There's countless white rappers other than Em who have had exposure who are not even remotely known. Because they didn't/don't make memorable and melodic music. Simple as that.

Jun 4, 2018 Well 5 really if you count Encore-Revival. Even though I think Relapse is great work, I understand it's mostly split or viewed as a stain. But, doesn't change what SSLP, MMLP & TES are. Nothing can change them. He still made them. They still are what they are; he can never be said to be the most consistent rapper, ever, but doesn't change those albums.

Jun 4, 2018 If I'm being honest with you, I find only Encore and Revival to be the missteps in his career. I like Relapse, Recovery and MMLP2. If you put behind all the f---ing nostalgia, accents, pop hooks etc. and become a little open minded, you'll realize those albums are genuinely not bad at all. I got over Relapse's accents on my 4th listen and it slaps. Recovery was a very unique record because Eminem had never done pop and it was a pop album done right. s--- was consistent unlike Revival. MMLP2 has some of the best Eminem music and verses ever imo. It's not on MMLP1 level but it's a good album. But still to each his own.
