He’s got some hits, Strange Clouds and the first No Genre tape are worth a listen, but you’re not missing much by skipping the rest of his discography. His transition from decent pop-rap hitmaker to budget K-Rino is one of the most embarrassing career nosedives in rap.

Man, at 2010 B.o.B was bigger than Drake and Airplanes was a international hit (i’m from Argentina)
What happened to him after adventures of bobby ray?

    Whattttt??

He had a solid run but then just went a bit nuts.
Strange Clouds is a d--- near perfect album. Underground Luxury was the start of the fall off studio album wise. It was alright but nothing compared to the first 2. And then Ether...not my cup of tea.
Psychadelic Thoughts was a great concept album but his mixtapes are where is best work is though imo. EPIC, No Genre, f--- em we Ball are all great.

Elements mixtape series had some good tracks on them but were filled with conspiracy theories galore. Was good for a laugh but laughable replay value.

Now this, this is a direction he hasn't gone before. It's good to see him experiment.

I listened to this again today and it's still just as good. Dude has a great voice and is very entertaining. Samples on here are awesome too.

Well I've finally been able to spend some time with this. On my fourth spin now and loving it. Thinking about Bob's studio albums, i like a lot how recently each one has got comfortably into a very different sub-genre. Even Ether (can't stand that album) was an attempt at the younger trap genre. This album fits with my old school preference of music taste but somehow makes it feel fresh and relevant.
Still a few conspiracies made their way into this project but hadn't overridden it and made it an issue. Good job Bob, this is an easy 8 from me at the moment. I'll up that to a 9 with pleasure of I find myself revisiting it in a months time. Which at this stage I hope I do.

B.o.b. is one of those amazingly underrated pop rappers that has surprisingly dope content at times. Glad he's back on his a game.

f--- me I love this album. So far my top played albums this year are Everything's for Sale, Ventura, Lighty & Ears Apart and Southmatic.
Southmatic could end up number 1 by the end of the year. Crazy s---!
