Oct 13, 2022 I just want to say like one thing real quick. You’ve called basically everyone that’s replied to you a r----- or some word or another similar. That’s not a good way to get people to help you out of give more feedback or a want to listen to future projects.
Oct 13, 2022 wow. i think this is the first occasion i ever heard someone on here speak about the importance of posting with tact and courtesy. i become so lost tryna be what these kids want i often conform to their posting styles of attacking each other and people’s work for no real reason and with no real criticism or advice, like inland empire is doing rn. also i know you recognize the fact most famous rappers today literally can’t even write a coherent sentence. i’m tryna be nice but it’s so ironic i’m on wax speaking so eloquently and rhyming so technically and building layered metaphors yet i’m being insulted by lil yachty stans so high they don’t even know what day it is and i’m expected to reply with a smile, but maybe i can learn lol
Oct 14, 2022 After reading @RipperRoo72 's feedback I was more compelled to listen. I made it all of the way through Revelations #9 and about a third of Magic before I had to shut it down. The overall quality is unlistenable. You're moaning that people are telling you to buy a better mic but that's exactly what you need to do. You've made an entire EP so you're clearly serious about this but unless you can make a project that isn't jarring to listen to them you're going to fail. The good points? We'll, there's only one really. Admittedly your ability to pen rhymes is quite good. But please don't grab onto that and say "thank you for your feedback, I know this blah blah blah". It doesn't matter because everything else is a---. The bad points? You're overemphasizing every syllable to make it so painfully clear that you're rhyming multi syllables. It just sounds like you're rapping after recovering from a stroke. Audio quality of your vocals is by far the worst thing and ultimately what made me turn it off. Seriously, invest in some decent hardware and decent mixing software if you're even 60% serious about this and wanting to improve. The Em biting is so cringe. f--- off with throwing a kitchen sink at someone. Wtf man. Em can get away with s--- like this because he's been in the game for 20+ years and earned his stripes. Not you. When people say you need to get inspiration from other rappers, they don't mean Lil Yachty or some s--- like that. There are plenty of lyrical rappers that flow like butter over beats and work with beats that are suited to them you could gain inspiration from. If you swoon over Em all the time then you're just going to be a one trick pony and we all know how his fan base has been in constant decline in recent years so now is not the time to 100% be biting Em.
