Sep 15, 2017 Was doing a casual background listen through Ready to Die which I've listened to probably a million times and noticed something for the first time ever. On 'Warning', when the beat is starting in the beginning before the instrumental fully drops in, someone (I presume Biggie) says something to the effect of 'Go ahead and lower it'/'go ahead and lower'. Says it very low like he's talking to the producer or tech manager, telling him to lower the volume of the beat. It could be something else but that's what I make it out as being. Have no clue how this ever escaped me before, I guess its so insigificant that I've never cared to know what it was. You ever be listening to one of your favorite albums and notice something like that that you hadn't ever noticed before? like an adlib or something unique
Sep 15, 2017 I was listening to good kid, m.A.A.d. city for two full years before I found out it's a concept album told in nonlinear sequence about things that happened when Kendrick was 17.
Sep 15, 2017 I always thought the cover of Enter The Wu-Tang was something else until I actually took a good look at it and realized it's Clan In Da Front, Hoods In The Back. There's a million lyrics I had been mishearing for some time, before I found out what they actually were.
Sep 15, 2017 I listened to 808s like a million times but didn't notice Kid Cudi on the Paranoid hook until I bought some good headphones
Sep 15, 2017 happns everytime u listen to an aesop album tbh cuz trying to understand his voice is like trying to decipher hieroglyphics
Sep 15, 2017 I remember when I was a kid it used to bug the s--- out of me trying to figure out who was on the hook for Never Change (Hov) & Guess Who's Back (Scarface) Literally took me years to figure out it was Yeezus Christ himself, even though I already heard his voice on BP2 & Champions
Sep 15, 2017 a few days ago a noticed some really quiet bass drums while listening to Too Much edit: it might be a reverb or echo idk but i never noticed it before
Sep 15, 2017 Just realized Doris was the name of his grandmother that died when Earl was working on the album
Sep 15, 2017 He went on sway and said it was a random title but I think later he revealed it was his grandmother
