    Cool ranking I don’t want to place MTBMB just yet. Want to live with it a little longer. Makes me wonder does anyone else rank MMLP2 over Recovery?

    Also, the appreciation this community has shown to this album is so phenomenal and i know oldheads stan must be feelin so nice despite having no promotion its like this project is exclusively for those who are revisting the album again and again and they are happy also if you smoke weed and listen to lock it up, god lord my god that beat is hott

    Well I responding to his post specifically which seemed to be responding to people hating on her verse because it's different. If you don't like the verse that's fine but a lot of people's reasoning for not liking seems to boil down to the fact that she's not a super lyrical rappity rap rapper like most of the other featured verses on the album.

    On some level I agree that the verses almost don't sound like they're part of the same song because they're such different takes on the beat, but that's not a failure on either of their verses specifically. And of course two rappers don't have to have a similar direction on a song for it to be good, but I'm not 100% sure it works for me here.

    I’m genuinely curious why MMLP2 is so high? What songs do you actually enjoy off that album? Lol

    I’m gonna have to have a very serious sit down and listen session to rank Em’s albums. Be ready for a list that will be argued and debated about for generations to come.

    I think it’s his worst album but not 100%. Would have to sit and listen to everything. You guys all hate on Rubin yet he has his fingers all over this album...go figure.

    Just realized the "Since an addy/Cincinnati" homophone on Those Kinda Nights. Always knew the play on addy and address but god d--- he really dove deep on that Ohio wordplay.
