Oct 18, 2019 Yeah I've been pretty disappointed with everything from Mr Davis - Delusions of Grandeur but this sounds much fresher and more interesting imo. The guests are bouncing off the walls, the production and Wop himself sound way more light-hearted. I think the reason people (myself included) stay interested is because Gucci's just naturally a brilliant rapper; he's insanely charismatic and witty, inventive but still able to give listeners what they want. Sure the production and droning on about how he's a changed man on the last few projects has been dragging him down but it sounds like he's heard the critiques and returned to a more easy-going sound on this.
