    The way rockstar made hits with the demonic production right off the bat whew. Idk if I should regret skipping out on Die Lit or nah. Haven’t heard s--- like this in a min

    I think the main thing rodeo did was give people an easy door into the world of trap like I said—a way for people to ease in who weren’t ready for thug, future, or migos.

    I kinda feel the opposite though, rodeo has aged poorly for me, cuz I didn’t always feel that way about the sequencing.

    i think rodeo has aged better with me with time..some of the joints i thought was filler kinda hit different 4 me now like 90210, i can tell & never catch me

    at the TIME i think rodeo probably was quite progressive but honestly i think i like travis in that bag more than what carti was doing but s--- i won’t rly know till he do it lol

    Yeah I sifted through just now to remember which ones they were and it was Neon and Place I recognized—and I realized Place wasn't even a full song I'd heard, it was a Pain 1993 edit that combined a 40 second snippet of Place with the Drake verse on Pain 1993, cuz I guess there's also 4 sec snippet of Drake on Place too.

    The amazing thing about this album is that most of these songs blow a lot of the leaks out of the water aside from the best ones like Cancun, Pissy Pampers, and Molly (which are on par with the best songs on the official release).

    My number one worry about this album was that he'd end up scrapping too many of the good songs cuz of leaks, but I only recognized I think two songs from the leaks I'd heard. Man really had most of his best stuff vaulted.

    Hmm. Gonna listen after christmas (tomorrow) just downloaded it!

    Maybe it helps that I don't really like Die Lit or his music in general. This being very different might be a good thing for me then!

    Tru, I included it mostly cuz it’s an album where people hated it because it didn’t sound like what they thought it would and over the past six months I’ve watched people change their opinion. I think stuff like You Better Move is def pushing the genre forward though.

    From what I've seen it seems most of the people trashing this are those die hard Die Lit fans, i guess expecting this to sound the same.... I'm glad we didn't get a Die Lit sequel, this is entirely new territory.

    Just finished my first listen and I honestly don't understand all the hate on social media. s--- got me turnt to the max. Added 19/24 songs to my playlist. Of course no album is worth waiting almost 2 and a half years for, but this is by no means a bad album. A lot of songs on there might be among carti's best.
