Jul 18, 2021 Absolutely. Top Shotta gets some hate but I absolutely love it. I think The Neptunes killed the production. Spoiled and Merci Beaucoup are great too
Jul 18, 2021 Alright a few listens in and its not as awful as I thought at first. I actually really like a lot of the first half. And the last 2 songs are great. That being said there are some abominations on this album that never shouldve seen the light of day. I get that that there needs to be at least some kind of commercial angle but I much rather wouldve just heard a collection of remastered unfinished songs rather than than some of these stitched together mashups. Or jesus at least posthumous features from some drill artists or Dread, Dafi, Quelly, etc instead of f---ing Chris Brown and Dua Lipa. STILL though Pop Smoke's presence and charisma is so incredibly magnetic, even when they're just recycling a bunch of lines we've heard so many times before he still draws you in, he's still the absolute star of the show. I guess some credit can be given to the producers for that but it really just highlights how much of a massive loss this was for hip hop. Curious to see if the deluxe is any different or just more of the same, but already a good sign they're apparently gonna include the OG version of Tiger with Fivio. I just hope thats it afterwards.
Jul 20, 2021 Here is my thoughts more time - fire pop smoke solo tell the vision - I need og. pusha and Kanye ruin this song. why is pusha promoting other albums and dissing drake. corny. Kanye's verse chorus thing is literally not even completed. Angie Martinez is fine on this tho. manslaughter - dream is fine and chorus is absolutely insane and shows pop smoke at his best but rick rosses verse is pointless / offensive bout a million - perfect track 10/10 love how they got 21 savage on it as it fits with pops verse. also the chorus is killer. brush em - fire track because it appears to be mostly untouched rah swish is dope top shotta - this track is fine, like how it keeps some of the og artists and pusha t is fine on this. 30 - bizzy banks wrecks this track beat the speaker - dope solo joint coupe - another fine solo joint. what's cracking - dope track but do we really need takeoff. still better and makes more sense than Ross and the first pusha t verse tho. beat sounds like walk it by Migos genius - one of the best choruses. liltjay is dope Mr Jones - mixing sounds bad but future is fine. like how he made the song seem like it was supposed to be like that how he sung part of Chorus and s--- woo baby interlude - apparently full song exists so it's dumb how they used this as an intruder woo baby - absolute b-----r. would like to hear version with Tory Lanez tho demeanor - another b-----r and Dua lipa is fine for a posthumous feature imo. spoiled - why is Pharrell on this? if all they had is a pop smoke chorus they should've just left this off and made a different song with it or something. it's way too short way it is. 8ball - I want to hear og cause this song doesn't fit this project. the Cudi song on his album would've fit better here. back door - song is fine for a posthumous offer merci beaucoup - dope a--- song and good way to end off album
Jul 29, 2021 there's so many questionable opinions here ion even know where to start. the bizzy song is like the first good song on the album lol
Jul 29, 2021 I like the song but the video is just too much, they could have done some 80s/90s themed party. I'm not feeling it at all.
Jul 31, 2021 https://music.apple.com/us/album/faith-deluxe/1579142055 Deluxe is out, and @Donkey Kong Country they put Dior on this
