Didn't listen to album fully yet, I'm not sure I can sooner. I started listenin' to it but I got bored and started playing the Documentary 2, I like that album specially the beats of the first 6-7 tracks

Good list man! Don't see mine being too much different. Although I don't think I'd out DA first. Second yes because of the beats. But literally every song (maybe missing one) mentions Dr Dre somehow. It's quite off putting when you focus on that.

Used to be a big fan of his music, but this album is mediocre.

Is the game still just cramming references to other rappers and calling it a song?

So I sat through the entire album from beginning to end at fairly high volume in the car. Not able to give it 100% as I was driving but more so than a few fleeting attempts.
My Google maps told me my journey was 2hrs and 13mins. The album finished with 15mins left of my journey.

My biggest take outs from this are:
*This is a lllooonnnggg album. I really don't think I'll ever be able to listen from front to back ever again
*The best songs seem to have very little Game. Either 1 verse or 2 8-bar verses
*This is a continuanity of him growing up. Don't expect any young, angry West Coast bangers here. Shame as that's what I like but I also like to see how artists mature with their music
*Rename some bloody songs FFS! Gucci flip flops? Carmen Electra? What, apart from the hook, makes these songs deserve this title?
*Lack of career defining artists such as Dre, Snoop, Kendrick and Cube makes this feel very lackluster as a "final album"

Overall, it's just too much. Too much filler. Too much time. For that reason alone I can't see myself returning to this apart from some songs feeling fresh when they turn up on shuffle (more likely than most as there's so many of them).

Should've been a mixtape and a West Coast centered album (similar to Doc 2) should have been his last with half the amount of tracks.

I think this album is being slept on. The laid-back production vibe takes some getting used to but this album is actually very solid. If you wrote this album off after one listen you should go back and revisit it.
Songs like One Life, Hug the Block, Ask For Me, and Five Hundred Dollar Candles are up there with some of Game's best songs this decade. The Game in general is slept on as an artist. He's quietly put together one of the more consistent discographies in hip hop.

If you look at his albums and then add his old mixtapes to the list. Game had one hell of a f--king run. Everyone falls off at some point.

I’ll forever be a game fan.

Game is in my Top 10 and this album doesn't change that. I've spent a fair amount of time with this album, probably given it 3 or 4 full play through a (which would be about 10 of a normal length album) and my initial judgement remains the same; it's great to see a matured Game, an evolution of growing up and some very well written and presented verses but this album is just WAY too long, the best songs have very little from Game (one verse or 2 eight-bar verses) and some of the songs should've been renamed.

I do think it's near bottom or bottom of his discog along with RED and Jesus Piece (because of their sloppiness) but overall it's no less than a 6/10.
