    im all about killing the cop FYI.. f--- it go in there and blow his brains out and ill applaud. that would at least make sense.

    While i might agree with you that cops look out for other cops. DA and what not. This was all caught in camera and this guy is done for. Why delay it

    you understand that it’s just this cop though right? the mpd keeps killing unarmed people who are already in police custody. what could be a more logical act of protest than burning down the precinct?

    Yes but this became worldwide news and matter. While i agree with wpg there needs to be a drastic change. Why not do a babystep and arrest the guy? I mean. He WILL be arrested. Theres zero chance not to

    let’s frame this another way tho: if they haven’t arrested him yet, and they do in the next week, it will be entirely because of the protests. that’s one of those real, material consequences jmg says don’t exist.

    Again. Im not an american. But i refuse to believe he woulda got away with it if no protests happened. He legitimately killed someone on camera

    Actually before @Donkey Kong Cuntry highlighted it. I was culturally shocked by this thread. The huge difference in mentality between americans in this thread and non americans is gigantic and i was put off by it. I thought at first could we be so different morally? Or is racism in america truly alive and well in police departments?

    Look at the case I posted above. It took them months to charge them and there was a video. They only charged them after it went viral.

    if anybody else killed someone like that on camera he’d be in jail already. (if it was a civilian who killed a cop he might never make it to jail.) did you catch the district attorney’s press conference yesterday? they have no intention of charging him with murder. i think the only reason they would now is to try to mitigate the damage.

    You can't say that these riots are the reason why he would be arrested. That is the problem.. You can not say without a doubt that he wouldn't of been arrested next week regardless. You can't say that a peaceful march or a sit in wouldn't of dont the same because it didn't happen. The black leaders had plans for that but the white people told them to do something else. So he gets arrested but the city still suffers, with no real solution.

    @Koolo are you familiar with the ahmed aubrey killing? the kid who was hunted down by a white father and son and murdered in the street in georgia? police and the da’s office had the video for months and only charged the killers when someone leaked it to the press and riots started.

    Racism still exists in police departments big time and combine that with the fraternity 'never betray a cop' mindset and you have have a recipe for disaster.

    if i wanted i could find probably 100 cases this month of this happening. The media cant divide people by showing that though.

    if you were capable of shame you’d be ashamed for posting such bs. the protests are the product of community members being fed up with the cops killing their friends and neighbors with impunity. honestly how dare you take that away from the organizers on the ground and credit white people instead.
