Jan 17, 2015 Just for everyone who may not be expecting them and wants a place to discuss this movie while it's a new release, let's refrain from spoilers here for the first few weeks of the movies release. I know this one is based off of a real story and you can look up what happened, but I didn't have a clue about this movie other than the hype it's been getting with awards and I was spoiled when I came into the thread too. Jan 17, 2015 Technically its been out a month...its like the TV Show threads, once it's aired you should expect discussion about what happened. You don't see the Show threads full of spoiler tags after something has aired...it should be common sense tbh
Jan 17, 2015 But its a movie based on an actual person. The ending of the movie is common knowledge. There was a thread about Chris Kyle on SL when he was murdered...Granted, it wasn't an Amir thread, so it probably didn't get a whole lot of attention, but the point is that this guy was a big deal, with a very public ending. Its not like giving up the Bruce Willis twist in The 6th Sense.

Jan 17, 2015 Yeah and like I said this isn't a typical case due to the reasons above, but I view movie discussion threads around release time see if people who have gone to see it recommend the movie or not. Movie experience is greater than a TV show so spoilers need to be handled a bit different. Ending might be common knowledge for some but up in Canada here I have no clue about who this guy is/was.
