Nov 13, 2021 Took them a while, but it seems like aftermath finally put out a record again that could be seen as a classic. Am I right?
Nov 13, 2021 Yup. That's also a reason why Em didn't drop anything this year and I had to laugh at some of these fan-theories.
Nov 14, 2021 God I just can’t believe how incredible this project is. It’s like them 2 just create perfection together. Not 1 miss.
Nov 15, 2021 Dunno why I thought this was delayed till 2022 but VERY pleasantly surprised to find this out. On After Last Night now and this is perfection
Nov 15, 2021 I don't like it, the first single was nice but I'm not really feeling the rest. This could have used some features.
Nov 15, 2021 not at all, I'm bummed about it—I'm gonna give it another chance of course but it bored me to tears aside from one of the singles I'd already heard. Oxnard and Ventura did nothing for me either (also wanna revisit to see if they've grown on me). And I say all this someone who was a HUGE fan of Venice, Malibu, and Yes Lawd! idk what happened after the NxWorries tape but I just couldn't get into any of his newer music. Agreed—but I only listened once so far
Nov 15, 2021 Agreed with Oxnard. That wasn't his sound at all. Couple of gems but ultimately forgettable. Ventura was much better though. This is a real return to a sound that's stored to him. Malibu and Yes Lawd! take the win in terms of ranking his discography but this comes on third ahead of the others. I never like Venice that much either but will need to return to double check. At this stage, in terms of ranking, I'd say: Malibu Yes Lawd! Silk Sonic Venice Ventura Oxnard
Nov 15, 2021 yeah I wanted to revisit ventura specifically cuz a lotta people said it was a return to form and i only heard it once and wasn't feelin it. oxnard just sucks tho lol
Nov 15, 2021 Nah it just doesn’t really move the needle for me one way or the other honestly. “Sucks” was prob too strong, it’s fine I just found it boring but I’ll try again
