Thinking of buying 1 of these boxes to use just on my bedroom tv.
I've heard good things about them & apparently you can get literally any channel from around the world including Premium/PPV channels.
The ones that I've been looking at have already been pre-loaded with all the apps & stuff I need so that I can just plug it straight into my tv without having to mess around installing s---.
But if anybody on here has bought one, are they any good?? Decent quality?? (most say HD as standard).
Any help would be appreciated. Cheers.

Depends on the XBMC channels you have. The HD ones usually have a small fee. Im thinking of getting a box as well.

It's basically just for my bedroom, wouldn't even get used that much, but haven't got an aerial to watch live tv upstairs so been looking at getting one just for the times I wanna watch something up there (football mainly). Just want something easy to plug in.

well then I guess you mean your gonna use XBMC? If so you can side load that onto the cheap Amazon Fire TV Stick or the Amazon Fire TV box (more money) which is a better device then those off brand Android TV Boxes. It also comes with a bunch of apps.

Yeah the ones that I've been looking at come pre-installed with XBMC & all the extras, the Amazon Fire Stick is an option I've been looking at aswell, but here in the UK they're a bit more expensive at the minute & double the price of the android boxes. Like I say I'll probably not use it that much, but as long as it has a decent amount of channels, good quality sports channels & is easy to use straight out the box I'll be happy.

Any in particular that you've liked the look of? Just done a quick ebay search & these are the sort I've been looking at mainly.

Dont get your hopes though. The quality on these channels is fairly poor. I have a paid subscription for HD channels.

Yeah same, I have HD subscription on both my main tv's downstairs but just want something upstairs other than Netflix etc, so thought I'd check them boxes out seeming as they're relatively cheap & have good enough reviews.
I could actually just stream s--- from my laptop to the tv but them boxes just look like the easier option.
