    Hunter x Hunter has an extremely slow start. Stick with it though. The ant arc will change your life

    I watched the first ep of Darling in the Franxx and found it too gimmicky. Was kinda like Keijo, seemed like fanservice disguised as a joke that didn’t really go anywhere. Maybe it got better idk but first ep was a turn-off.

    It's not really that bad, there's a lot of world building but it's necessary and serves a purpose.

    Yeah, definitely. It's one of the most accessible series out there and is good enough to hold your attention despite being pretty long.

    Just got done with the first ep. It was kinda boring for the most part but the last few minutes were lit. If it can keep up that pace for the next episode I'll stick with it.

    Famous figures from Japanese horse racing re-imagined as cute anime girls, and they're also idols because why not I guess.
    I started watching it for the memes but honestly I'm kind of invested now. Once the novelty of the absurd premise wears off, there's still a decent sports anime left.
