    And going from one extreme to the other, I finished Clannad and Clannad After Story about a month or so ago. Holy f--- I cried, I literally felt stabbed in the heart it hurt

    I'd sure hope so! I feel like if there was at least a decent anime adaption, more people would actually go for the manga but I guess no animation could do the manga justice. The 90s one is somewhat good but kinda dated but the outtakes of the english dub are still funny as h---. Watch that s--- on youtube lmao


    Facts! I've read the manga at work (it's a student job and not much to do lol). Recently a new chapter came out which gave some more insight on the skull knight. Guess now it's time for waiting again. Might gonna pick up Vinland Saga since I don't wanna wait for the anime to return after that phenomenal first season. Which by the way had one of the hardest openings I've heard in a long time:

    I guess the first season is a little bit Slice of Life and definitely the weaker season, there's a little bit of sci-fi in it as well. I still enjoyed it. After Story is where it really picks up and gets a lot more deeper than it already is. If you're a sucker for sad stories, it's as sad as it gets for me. I've seen Anohana and I think Clannad is better.

    Will Berserk ever get an adaptation that does it justice?? I dont think it ever will, but if there is... It's gonna be the greatest of all time.

    I tried to watch the movies on netflix because a friend told me that they are a good adaptation of the Golden Age arc. I never found out because I couldn't handle this god awful 3d animation. Had to turn it off after 5 minutes.

    OG Clannad is dull. Very little happens and it doesn’t have comedy fall back on in the absence of story like, say, Lucky Star. But at least OG Clannad made sense. After Story is some deus ex machina bs that the writers pulled out of their a--- because they think we’re idiots.
    Both seasons got ugly character designs that make everyone look like insects.
