    In 10 days the one episode special for “monsters: 103 Mercies Dragon Damnation“ will hit Netflix. This is a prequel to one piece. And was a one shot before one piece began. This one episode special will be directed by the same person that did the JJK 0 movie.

    I’m bummed that that the run time is only 23 minutes. But it should be cool none the less.

    Just finished ep 2 of solo leveling. I must say this seems like it’s going to be a good action flick anime. Not sure it’s going to meet the hype behind it. But I’m here for it.

    Finished ep one of bucchigiri. Didn’t seem like my thing. But I’ll stick to it for a bit just because it’s made by Mappa studios.

    currently watching the unwanted undead adventurer. Seems to be a lot of anime I need to start and keep up on.

    Anime flopped in Japan because it was directed in a live action style and didn’t have the usual tropes.

    For reference, Bocchi then Rock sold around 190k or something BDs there. CSM didn’t even crack 10k, with it being already a popular franchise, a lot of promo and different endings and all that

    you’re wrong. It changed directors because he went on to start his own studio. And I don’t think flopping in Japan is that big of deal. I mean h--- they sell chainsaw man manga and merchandise at Walmart . If it’s selling in Walmart off of 12 episodes I would say that’s a win

    I know he started his own studio. Which is good for him. But we don’t know the whole story. Leaks of him being fired started in may from reputed leakers.

    Japan buys more physical media than the west. Do some maths with what I said before. 10k x 70$ (price of the Blu-ray) and 190k vs 70$. This is basically free money for the studio. They just pack the anime and sell it.
    Physical media is dead in the west.

    Anyone here seen Wolf's Rain? Re-watching it as an adult. Never realized Yoko Kanno did the soundtrack. The music slaps.

    Don’t know how I missed the bus on this one. But I started “Mashle: Magic and Muscles” what a fun anime. If you’re looking for something to watch I recommend this to be your go to.

    Ep 6 of solo leveling was pretty lit! Sucks they’re only doing 12 ep this season . I feel like a anime with this much hype behind it should have had a one hour first episode and 24 episodes total . Come in with a b---. Not just ease into it then the season is over as soon as it gets good.
