    I myself am an atheist, and have also been looking into Buddhism and Confucianism. I purchased "The Analects" (teachings of Confucius) awhile back and read some of it, I plan on picking it up again soon. Anyway, what religion/philosophy do you follow?

    like I'm 100% on religions of all kinds being utter nonsensical garbage and doubtful of any god or afterlife as a result, let alone one with any sort of power to actively influence things, but I'm open to any scientific ideas about the possibility of, you know, something beyond this life I guess... and some kind of god (just not in the sense of what most people think of obviously) if there were some kind of evidence to support it. But right now there's not anything.

    Like I don't believe in god but I don't like think that when I die I'm just gone ya know? Like not anywhere, just dead and gone? Kinda morbid but I don't like. I personally do not like the idea of everything being a sin and how it affects our nation. Like I work at a grocery store in Texas (part of the Bible Belt) and ppl can't buy alcohol before noon on Sundays cause its the Sabbath. What ever happened to the separation of Church and State? @Sign Language

    That and I don't like how its said that God made you in the image of He? Explain Harlequins disease or birth defects? Like how can someone justify that? And if god is omnipotent and all knowing than why would he put that family through the heart ache of carrying their baby that they made and were excited to raise and nuture for and care for and LOVE to die a few days later. Its horrible and a tragedy. Not only that but just f----- up s--- in general. Like I know people who have been r---d and when they went to church the pastor said , I s--- YOU NOT, "everything happens for a reason" really? f---ing explain that. I helped that person through it and when the authorities finally got the f---ing piece of s--- guess what his name was? Jesus Lopez. If there is a God, he has got one f---ing sick sense of humor @Sign Language @Sheriff Skippy

    Was born into a Baptist family and use to be religous when i was a kid but a while back i kinda just used logic and stopped believing what people wrote 2000+ years ago. I still believe there is a higher power. I feel like religion was made as a tool to make us morally and ethically behave a certain way.
