Oct 7, 2022 The last Atlanta episode was reminiscent of The Boondocks Pause episode. They also took huge shots at Tyler Perry. I think he even got those episodes pulled from broadcast.

The first 2 seasons were great, but these last two were very hit or miss. Gotta fetch some tea in the tea room while I relax in the tea room
Nov 11, 2022 I liked it a lot honestly. There is a ton to unpack there. Need to rewatch it and also rewatch the pilot. In the pilot Darius definitely seemed like he was in a dream-like state, surreal s--- that we would eventually grow accustomed to seeing would happen and Darius would comment on it; him getting deja vu about seeing the dog. I think kinda building off of what I said before about earlier in the season us not being meant to take events as literally happening was at least implied by this ending. It is complex and ambiguous but they deliberately want us to think about the entire show being a Darius-dream, not just this episode. When he is asked if this is his first time going in the tank he specifically says no, he goes every week, which is how often the show airs. That is definitely put in there deliberately for us to make the connection that it is not just this episode that is a tank-dream. Lot to digest but I’m interested in rewatching the series after watching this finale a couple more times
Nov 11, 2022 Just finished season 1. Does this get better? I like it for what it is but was expecting a much better show tbh. Can't take paper boy or his whole persona seriously at all. He's like what, 40? And all he does is lie around on his couch smoking pot and I'm supposed to believe he's poppin in the streets lol
Nov 11, 2022 I was wondering if they were trying to say the whole show was just Darius in the tank dreaming which wouldn't have been as corny to me if they at least said it and gave it some closure. I liked the show for what it was though. Had a lot of great moments but also tried to be smarter than it was a few times
