Nov 25, 2015 @ThuggerSXN I reviewed this a while ago but It was when i was first introduced to Thug and I didn't like him that munch. Now that the dust has settled, I can talk about it properly. This album is very interesting. The intro track, Constantly Hating, is one of the most interesting. It just makes me smile how the instrumental is so playful, light and spacey, but Young Thug says some pretty Explicit and hard things on it. The contrast made it one of my favorites. Young Thug is catchy on just about every song. His spitting on "With That" is some beautiful s---. I also love "Check." The way he just comes in rapping and that hook hits with the beat. Young Thug does his thing on Halftime, dude just goes in. Young Thug's lyricism is one of the best parts, it's nasty, weird, nonsensical and funny. The beginning and the last moments of this album are it's strong points. The middle isn't bad but it also isn't that great and special for me. From "Never Had It" to "Knocked Off," Young Thug's sexual moaning on "Dome" is the highlight. But the ending...............wow The last three tracks on this album are easily the best on the album. Young Thug's vocals are the strongest on these tracks. They are emotional, catchy, smooth and just plain beautiful. That little moaning this Thug does on "OD" during the first verse(no h---). These last 3 songs are great melodically. The last track, "Just Might Be," might be the best on the album. The hook is absolutely 10/10. So yeah..............that's Barter 6 8.9 FAV TRACKS: Constantly Hating, With That, Can't Tell, Check, Halftime, OD, Numbers, Just Might Be, Dome LEAST FAV TRACK: Amazing
