Jan 12, 2016 No I just like whatever's good m8, whatever style it may be There are probably solid arguements I can for those songs vs the other ones you're thinking about
Jan 12, 2016 I guess enough time just ain't passed, yet A couple more years, that s---'ll be ill-matic
Jan 12, 2016 I don't see how people like SS2 more than SS1 SS1 has Power, Best Friend, Quarterback, Mine, and Again Not too much on SS2 is as well made as those tracks
Jan 12, 2016 I was just thinking about how hard it is to compare thugs projects to each other Brb making thread
Jan 12, 2016 On the OP it looks like Thug is pissing on the statue head of SS1 Edit: On a serious note I need to revisit SS2 before I make a choice
Jan 12, 2016 By that I meant x could be great and y could as well And while me liking x more than y could seem like style preference, it's almost always not. I can probably explain why I think one track is better than the other for me if you ask specifically I like all styles equally
Jan 12, 2016 this isn't ever true for anyone but i dont know you well enough to know what your preferences are it just seemed 2 me that way, considering your picks from SS2 too
Jan 12, 2016 I agree with the sentiment that B6 is likely to be the best project; it's sequenced and mixed very well. It was a nice uniformed way for them to present Thugger to an audience that would be unfamiliar with his style/cadence. It's not really a gripe because the songs are great and since it was meant to be presented as diverse but SS1 felt like plate of gumbo where they were like f--- it let's throw every ingredient in there.
Jan 12, 2016 No, everyone has preferences, consciously or not. If you look at it in an objective way while ignoring any of your preferences and tastes you're basically ignoring any enjoyment as well. That makes the music lose its purpose. Actually thinking "I just like whatever is good" isn't only clueless, its extremely arrogant.
Jan 12, 2016 All I meant by that statement was that when it comes to me saying one song is better than the other, it's almost always because I can form a coherent arguement as to why. Which is all that matters to me But I obviously have my preferences. They don't always overlap. I think never made love is a better song than big racks, but I'd rather listen to big racks on a daily basis By I don't have a preference, like I said, I mean I don't inherently get drawn to one sound. Even if my personal preference is the more pop sound as you said, I dont automatically like a song that tries for that sound
