Jul 25, 2016 Spoiler Joker finally got someone to laugh at his s-----y joke. Barbara enters a secret room in her apartment and becomes "Oracle" since she paralyzed af.
Jul 25, 2016 Yeah but like wtf, why was Batman laughing so much. I got the Barbara part but the whole time I was looking at Batman like
Jul 25, 2016 In the graphic novel it's implied that Batman chokes Joker, presumably to death, whilst laughing. In both the novel and film it fades away with Batman laughing while Joker is eerily quiet.
Jul 25, 2016 Seeing this tonight in the theaters, can't wait. I will definitely pick up the Steel Book next week.
Jul 25, 2016 @Nori the ending is supposed to be ambiguous like ohh f--- did joker actually get to batman and did batman k--- joker or did joker drive batman insane
Jul 26, 2016 I didn't get the sense batman might k--- the joker in the movie, the emphasis seemed way more on then sharing a laugh which is a powerful moment, but not nearly as ambiguous as the book. But the main thing I'm pissed about is in the graphic novel the last image is of the beam of light from the police car going out, which is a pretty perfect visual indication that batmans hope of saving the joker is dead (it connects to the jokers last joke about the flashlight). It should've been able to be translated to a movie pretty perfectly bc it's so visual and also meaningful, but for some reason they skipped out on it. Ending really fell flat in my opinion.
Jul 26, 2016 if it's implied in the movie that he kills him they did an absolute s--- job at getting that across
