I really liked it. Started off well and got kind of dull towards the middle before picking up again. At over 2 hours, there's a lot to take in and at times it seemed rushed, but not so much that it took away from the quality of the movie.

The biggest drawback was how underdeveloped Superman is/was. Idk if he'll be better than Bale (their Batman's are very different), but Affleck has a lot of potential and I'm excited to see what he comes up with for the solo movie. Eisenberg was great. A little over the top at times but he owned this role.

@Immy you're being a little over dramatic fam. This wasn't THAT bad. I think your expectations were just too high.

I had little to none with zack synder as director. Im just a fan who is hella disappointed. As a MOVIE (take away any dc tie ins) its terrible and the reviews show this.

I f---ing hate Jesse Eisenberg and hated the fact Snyder tried SO HARD to depict Lex like The Joker.
Anyways, I liked this movie for the simple fact that imma Batman nerd and Batman was pretty awesome in this. Affleck was great. Superman sucks so I never even bothered to see Man of Steel (read about it before seeing this, was aware of the whole plot). Went in with low expectations and left happy.
We will appreciate this movie WAY more when the entire series is completed. After all, it's just a set up movie so no s--- it seemed rushed..

Now I'm looking forward to Suicide Squad, strictly to see Leto's version of the Joker, and another Batman appearance.

I love Batman so much as a comic book series, movie franchise, etc. He's the most realistic hero, and easily has become my favorite.

But, I've always thought it was absolutely f---ing stupid to have him face off against any super hero or mutant villain.

People act like Batman is this mastermind, or he's too smart that he'll always find a way to win. f--- outta here.

Superman would k--- Batman in a second, and that's why this movie never has and never will appeal to me.

Literally every super hero or super villain NOT in the Batman universe would snap him in half.

But, in saying that Dark Knight and Batman Begins >>>

Lol I see your points but I think you're looking into it a little too much, or at least compared to how I like to watch things.

For these kinda movies, in many ways I just shut off the old noggin and just kick back and enjoy it. I don't like to think too deeply bout it or I'll probably feel similar to how you do about this all lol.

But hey, whatever works for ya.

Look, I know super hero movies are completely fiction, but at least make it consistent. Make it Flash vs Super Man... Something I can buy into.

Like, Iron Man vs Captain America makes sense, because of all the technology Iron Man has. His suit is made for that, and it fits the original comics and cartoons. I can buy in.

Batman, to me, is unlike all these super heroes. I put him ABOVE them, because he's the most practical. He has a suit that is normal, with gadgets, and he's basically a ninja. Dark Knight trilogy was perfect (ok DKR was eh, but still). His villains are always practical.

I don't think it's really that deep. It's just basic knowledge. How is Batman f---ing with Superman in a fight? It doesn't make sense to me.

It's like Darth Vader vs Jason Bourne lol. I'd never buy into it, because it's f---ing stupid.

@Immy only parts I didn't like were

when Bruce was hacking Lex and that asian woman came down and he was like "ohh, I thought the bathroom was down here". Kinda awkward and obviously the bathroom wasn't down there.

right before he's about to kil superman, all the sudden their moms name is martha and everything is cool? idk just didn't sit well with me. all that hate built up and something like that ended it.

I still really enjoyed the movie though.
