Musically he's always been very much a product of his influences but cant deny he's f---ing great at doing what he does, i think someone already mentioned he's a great curator, similar to Kanye. You dont go listening to Travis expecting lyrical miracles or crazy vocal innovations or deep emotional heartfelt stuff at all, just s--- that slaps lol. And he's repeatedly proven he can do that imo.

Jul 14, 2021 100%. Travis's strength has always been the atmosphere he creates.. This is also the reason why his a shifty feature artist. He always makes who evers song it is feel like a half a--- Travis song. He needs to be involved in the whole song creation process for it too work.
