    Had a few good beers watching hockey last night at Burger and Lobster Soho ( found this place through https://nicelocal.co.uk/london/restaurants/type/brunch/). Ayinger Oktoberfest, Sam Adams Black Lager, and Flying Bison Rusty Chain

    Do you like Saint Arnolds Pumpkinator? I think its realizing here in Austin some places on Thursday and I'll finally get a chance to try it out since I've been in Texas. Ive heard its a top ten pumpkin beer. I miss Southern Tier's Pumking

    I hate Pumpkin Beers but Saint Arnold’s is amazing! Not overwhelming pumpkin-y flavor, but rather mixed with a good amount of cinnamon and malty caramel. I think it’s like 10 or 11 percent too, so very efficient. It’s everything a pumpkin beer should be imo.

    Can’t go wrong with Saint Arnold!

    Good beer but those run-of-the-mill lagers give me the worst headache if I have too many. Beyond the normal “drank too much headache”, more intense.

    well I got here a little too late to get the free glass but the pumpkinator was worth it. Great beer. Exactly as you described it.

    Thai beer is on a another level to any beer. Don’t even like beer that much but Chang and singha actually tastes good and refreshing. Hard to import or find in UK but my go to when I go Thai restaurant.

    This is probably the best I've seen beer described. So good that you've made me want to hunt it down and try it!

    I think some of them just dropped at the store near me. If they aren’t sold out by the time I get there I’ll get you one.

    Troegs was always one of my favorite brewers in the Northeast but unfortunately mad elf is one of my least favorite beers from them. Haven’t had it in a few years now so I wonder if I would like it any better nowadays.

    I love it. It's a heavy beer but for 11% it's pretty smooth. I like the Mad Elf Grand Cru better which usually comes out mid November. They only make that in 750ml bottles. Has a smoother taste with the same percentage. But yeah Troegs in general is good. Nugget Nectar is probably my 2nd favorite from them
