Oct 25, 2017 Marshall Mathers is not here for President Trump. Eminem lashed out in a fiery freestyle rap that debuted during the BET Hip Hop Awards. USA TODAY DETROIT — Eminem's viral video blasting President Trump was filmed during the middle of a workday at a busy Detroit parking deck. Still, the hoodie-clad rapper and his crew managed to evade detection as the s---t rolled Friday afternoon in the nine-story garage at the corner of First and Fort streets. Eminem's anti-Trump freestyle rap, broadcast four days later during the BET Hip Hop Awards, garnered round-the-clock news coverage while racking up more than 21 million online views. "We hid him very quietly," says Terry Scott, manager of First Street Parking. The entourage also included the four classic 1980s Detroit land yachts parked behind Eminem during the video, bookended by a Cadillac and Buick. "We were able to block it off," Scott says of the eighth-floor scene. "Everything went well, and nobody even knew he was here." The video session involved about eight or nine total takes, Scott says. The final result was a 4½-minute clip with Eminem directing his lyrical vitriol at the president and defending national anthem protests in the NFL. Eagle-eyed local viewers may recognize DTE Energy's headquarters and Doubletree's Fort Shelby Hotel in the background. "It just took off," Scott says of Eminem's video. "It's the hottest thing going on right now." Eminem has shown a fondness for Detroit parking decks through the years, most notably the converted Michigan Theatre garage downtown, a setting for key scenes in the movie 8 Mile. Eminem and Shady Records have tweeted several images from Friday's video set.
Oct 25, 2017 Lies. Someone actually made a thread after some dude tweeted that Eminem was making a video and got a picture of some dudes in black leaning against a car (from the opposite direction). Unless it's someone from the same camp.
