If anything this is just another strike against the cops and how they operate because they're undertrained and don't know how to handle those situations. You buy into conservative media narratives just as much as the average lib buys into liberal media narratives lol

Apr 10, 2021 Every single person in this country's views are affected by the media regardless of your political leanings. It's impossible not to be unless you live in a shack in the middle of nowhere with no contact with the outside world whatsoever. It doesn't mean you can't try your best to look at stuff from a variety of different sources (which everyone should do to try and curb your own bias as much as possible) but this stuff is largely subconscious and if you think you're not affected by it you're a fool.

Apr 10, 2021 I don't know what's going to happen after the trial and I never put much stock in these trials anyway because cops get off over and over again. It's like the Trump impeachment trial, I didn't pay much attention to it because I knew nothing was going to happen. I was out at vigils and peaceful protests and helped gather thousands of dollars in donations (as in, got other people to donate but I also donated too) to a variety of bail funds for peaceful protestors and justice reform nonprofits. If Shauvin gets convicted it will be a significant battle won but it's only one small battle in a huge war. I don't give a f--- about cops being shamed unless it goes hand in hand with an action that takes them and their badge off the streets.

It's not just you and it's not just me, it's everyone on this forum.
