That’s not gaurenteed with a woman who shares Bernie’s ideology in Warren running. Bernie enjoyed the benefit of having the full support of the far left/progressives on his side in ‘16. That won’t be the case this time.

That’s fine. He did the same thing to Clinton’s voting record & look how that turned out for him. My whole point is that it’s going to be much more difficult for Bernie to win this time around than it was in 16’. It was primarily a 2 horse race last time around. Now? We’re talking about a handful of likely candidates & a couple underdog/dark horse candidates. His support is going to be splintered.

And they are all brainwashed by propaganda. Are any of them multimillionaires or billionaires or just easily duped bigots?

She’s only been a politician for like 3 years so her voting record isn’t that extensive. It’s part of the reason I like her. She’s still new to politics, especially at the federal level. What her voting record does show is what you would expect from a CA Senator, consistently liberal & anti-Trump. Her big doners consist of WarnerMedia (AT&T), University of California & law firms. Pretty much all makes sense considering she’s highly educated with a legal background. However, she’s not accepting donations from corporate PACs for her presidential run which is awesome!

Neoliberalism and incrementalism ain’t gonna cut it. That’s the old democratic playbook. Toss it in the garbage, light it on fire and take a s--- on it. Populism and anti-establishment is the way forward. Look at the polls. Look what policies the country is In favor of. Policies supported by Bernie, AOC and Ro Khanna are highly favorable. They are true fighters of the people. Medicare For All, green new deal, marijuana legalization, end outsourcing, criminal justice reform, ending the drug war, end regime change wars, high tax on the rich, regulate Wall Street...they don’t just play lip service and bs people. They’ve proposed actual legislation and have been very outspoken in fighting for these policies because they actually care about improving the lives of Americans.

Beto, Harris, Gillibrand, Biden, Booker are all neoliberal hacks who would probably get beaten by Trump. They’re in the same boat as the Clintons, Obama’s and Schumer and Pelosi. Of course they’re preferable to Trump, but that doesn’t mean they’re good by any means. And it doesn’t mean they have a shot at beating Trump. All those candidates could very well lose to Don the Con.

Liz Warren is in the middle of the populists and neoliberals. She has a better chance at beating Trump.

    Don’t get duped by neoliberalism.

Everything you named could pretty much be the DNC’s platform in 2020. The gap between Harris/Gillibrand/Booker (Beto & Biden are certainly more moderates) & Sanders/AOC really isn’t that big. Sanders/AOC are simply more open about their leftism while the prior are more careful because a large chunk of the electorate is still pretty conservative. It’s not just about these policies being popular but about what people who actually vote think. Yeah, it’s great that millennials support these progressive policies but guess what? We historically have low voter turnout rates. We are not (yet) a voter group that candidates can depend on to win elections & it shows. Go ask Sanders how leaning on millennials worked out for him in 2016. That’s why you have democratic politicians who come off as so calculated & careful with their positions because the people who actually do vote tend to be older & more moderate.

I would agree, but Bernie is the best candidate far and away on policy.

Personally I think polls and actual data are dumb and that the way we should predict who wins is based on our personal social lives

Yup. If the Democratic primary process had been fair and transparent (who am I kidding these things never are) I'm confident we'd have Bernie in the White House rn. Democratic establishment shot themselves in the foot by picking a candidate before the race had begun. It'd be interesting to see how well Sanders does in the primaries. I think a lot of people who voted Trump last time round (white, disillusioned, not wealthy) could've been potential Bernie voters. Both candidates represented something very different to the status quo, and that's what people are seeking across US and Europe atm.
Btw you still living in Venezuela?
