Aug 22, 2017 Yeah GR is a huuuuuge undertaking but now that I'm working from home every day I'm hoping to pick it up again, though I might try one of his shorter books first instead. Would you recommend The Crying Lot 49 out of what you've read, then? I'll def give Inherent Vice a rewatch.
Aug 22, 2017 Definitely, it's his shortest and most accessible book and overall just really great and very much in the same vein as Inherent Vice. V. is denser and more complex but I didn't find myself quite as invested in it as the other two, but him having that as his debut is highly impressive to say the least.
Aug 23, 2017 It was a joke lol My fav book in all seriousness is The Bridge of San Luis Rey. A bit of an oldie but its really good
Aug 23, 2017 Depends on which film. There have been 3 adaptations The first adaptation is a classic, second one was okay i guess. Haven't seen the newer adaptation, but apparently it was dogshit.
Aug 23, 2017 Either the Steven King Dark Tower series. Spoiler but f--- that ending Or His Dark Materials trilogy.
