Jan 5, 2016 why are you being an a---? It's a legitimate question. Just in the last 2 year thug has put out 5 very well received projects -- why would i believe you've heard 5 projects in a row by an artist you apparently hate? if you were open to actually talking about the projects youve heard, instead of dodging the quesiton, we wouldnt be here in the first place
Jan 5, 2016 ye I've already heard them. Pluto is the debut of one of the hottest new rappers... I'm sure some people have yet to hear ds2 but I'm confident that every rap fan gave Pluto a listen when it first came out.
Jan 5, 2016 so I cant leave for 5 mins ? I still have 0 idea who tf you are and yet your this obsessed with me
Jan 5, 2016 you're not a vocal supporter. the vocal supporters have made people like me and you who actually like the album reserve our praise lol
Jan 5, 2016 you'd be surprised, but sure see -- if you actually clarify your stance instead of becoming defensive like the others, im fine with it. now, sorry because im getting all of you confused, what was ur opinion on future again?
Jan 5, 2016 name 1 instance you acknowledge that album sales yet you are trying to argue them literally never said that that was Narsh and even then your misrepresenting his point again you don't know how to read. I said theres no way anyone could have listened to every album released in the last 10 years without spending more than 100% of his time listening to music. Never said nerd either. stop talking your a--- and stop being so butthurt over my presence when I literally had 0 idea you existed before this
Jan 5, 2016 True. To often I see the album getting praised for the wrong reasons too like it's "complexity" or just purely the message behind it. To be quite honest, I think people are so caught up with the fact that it's so universally praised that people are just praising the album to jump on the bandwagon. I see a lot of people not just on here but on other social media outlets as well that can't explain what makes the album so great and that's a problem. Blind praise means nothing.
Jan 5, 2016 tbh sometimes I see people thinking tpab got all that praise because of the message? when all the musicians and fans were praising it for the music. Like for example there was a jazz musician saying it was one of the most complex albums of the last 5 years, but he was talking about the composition and the jazz elements and some people thought he was talking about lyricism and metaphors lol. Of course people are talking about the message but thats because it is still an important issue today.
Jan 6, 2016 Probably the first and one of the only lists ill ever mostly agree with. For me, 2014, and this year was a toss up for me. I dont think Nicki had THAT huge of an impact that year.. Drake and Thugger had a much bigger impact imo.. And 2015 h--- no lol. No way hype and one single, and one great (but not amazing) tape could outlast TPAB. Drake is the f---ing man but he couldnt hold a candle to TPAB. Tbh if Views came this year then thats debatable. Even if you don't like TPAB, you cant ignore the ridiclous amount of praise and impact it sent throughout the industry. Take an L Complex. And I'm not d-ck riding either, I don't even play TPAB that much anymore. But 2015 is really the only year I really have a problem with. Btw probably one of the only publications I've seen (yet) which hasnt placed TPAB at #1 or 2 EDIT: Nvm they did
Jan 6, 2016 they placed tpab at #1 on both their best albums of the year and best rap albums edit: nvm, they didn't drop a best rap albums list, just AOTY
