Oct 26, 2015 at that point in time? maybe if you ignore scarface, jay z, kanye, doom, slug, etc there are allowed to be more than 1 incredible rapper. and even then, thats not all this list was about. it takes into account influence on the genre. Eminem, IM sure, is up there even for WPG. just wasnt #1 or #2.

Oct 26, 2015 so you've never listened to The Fix front to back, have you? or Just Tryin' Ta Live? thought so. you need to listen to more rap music before you b---- about people who have put in the work. no. kendrick put out a great album in 2011 and a masterpiece the next year. he's a phenomenal artist. he's not putting out anything within shouting distance of future this year. thoughts? marci is one of the most influential rappers of this decade. go south of the mason-dixon line and tell me kevin gates isn't a massive star.

Oct 26, 2015 i have him second in two different years. eminem was and is one of the most commercially successful artists of all time. no one can or should try to take that away from him. he had little to no palpable impact on the direction of hip-hop.
